For the first time, I'm delighted to offer a ceramic light fitting. This is the Solas Lamp, named Solas after the Irish word for light, that has been in development for several years. This is your chance to own the very first piece for sale in a brand new chapter for my studio.
The lamp is finished in the signature Dollymount Shoreline glaze from my core ceramics range. Its earthy, sea-inspired tones create a wonderfully soft and diffused glow when lit, making it perfect for creating a cosy atmosphere on a bedside table, a sideboard, or in your favourite reading nook.
There is only one available for purchase at this time. Depending on interest, I may develop a collection of these in the future, but this piece will always be unique.
Technical Details: The lamp comes fully assembled with a standard Ireland/UK plug and uses a universal E27 screw-in light fitting. The vintage-style bulb pictured is included, but can easily be switched out for any bulb of your choice.

Materials
I use high-fired stoneware clay and professionally formulated, food-safe glazes.
Stoneware is fired at an intensely high temperature (over 1200∘C). The glaze fuses permanently to the clay, creating a gorgeous, non-porous finish that is completely non-toxic and ready for your kitchen.

Each piece is part of a unique, experimental batch. As I love exploring new glazes, sold-out designs are rarely recreated.
However, your feedback is incredibly valuable. If you've fallen in love with a past design, please let me know by getting in touch. It helps guide my future creations. ruth.kelly.design@gmail.com
Returns & Replacements
Returns & Replacements
I pack every piece with extreme care, but sometimes ceramics still break. If your order arrives damaged, send me a photo and I'll process a full refund.
Because my work is created in very small, unique batches, I don't have spare stock for replacements. The limited nature of these pieces is part of what makes them special, but I know it's disappointing when one breaks. Thank you so much for your understanding.
